Le Papondu was born in 2017, when Sheryline and Philippine asked their vegan friends what they missed the most. The answer was simple : EGGS! As they were still students, they also realised that a lot of people are allergic or intolerant to eggs. They decided to create a plant-based egg to help them!
Only one goal: becoming the first hens that lay green eggs!
Philippine has been able to draw on her experiences in the agri-food sector in order to deepen her knowledge in the field but also to build a network of professionals and suppliers useful for the Papondu’s formulation. She has perseverance, patience and rigour to develop the recipe for their flagship product.
Her scientific career has brought her several experiences in industrial product development and quality control. Endowed with an artistic soul and driven by the desire to take the project off the ground and boost the brand, Sheryline naturally took control of business development, marketing and communication.
